I recently took the Woman’s Basic Pistol Course and CCW course, and I am thrilled with everything Top Gun and it’s wonderful instructors have done for me! As a woman who has never shot a gun, I was nervous about stepping foot into a shooting range let alone firing a handgun. When I went into Top Gun, my fears subsided. Everyone is so friendly, and the staff is there to help you in every way they can. I can’t say enough good things about Top Gun!

I recommend that every woman (and man!) take the Basic Pistol Course. As a person who was deathly afraid of firearms, I learned that knowledge is power. Having the classroom instruction and actually shooting in the range has boosted my confidence, and I think I am now addicted to shooting! Thank you again for everything! I will be back soon to shoot!!

Just wanted to thank you and your team for all the information you provided me before getting to the range, and for the AWESOME staff assistance whilst on the range!! Being from a country where guns are mostly illegal, it was a huge education and a really fun and safe experience for me!! The young guy who helped us out on the day was so so helpful and patient and informative and he really made the difference to us – he was able to take the time to explain the guns, and how to load and how to use a gun safely, and it really made us feel at ease in a situation which was really foreign to us!!

You have an amazing team there at the range you should be very proud of!! Again, thank YOU for all the information … and thanks also to the young man who helped us out!! I hope to be able to get back there sometime!!

I learned this in my private lesson with David Price and has helped me tremendously. Proper grip is very important when shooting a handgun. As a handgun is fired the weapon begins to recoil before the bullet has exited the barrel. Therefore, it is essential that the grip remain consistent, shot-after-shot. Often shooters readjust their grip after each shot which is what I was doing. The first shot will seat the weapon firmly into the hand. Readjusting the grip will loosen and change the grip. Grasp the weapon with the web of the hand pressed firmly into the backstrap of the grip and once the first shot is fired, do not readjust the grip.

Friendly people. Clean and well lit range. And the selection of rental guns is amazing. Finally got a chance to shoot the SCAR MK16 and glad I did. Prices are reasonable to boot. Will definitely stop by whenever I’m in the area

I want to give a shout out to Top Gun Shooting Sports, recognizing their facility and their staff for outstanding accommodations for our NRA Basic Rifle Shooting course this last weekend. On both days of the class the staff were very helpful and welcoming, which contributed to a successful class. The facilities, as always, were clean and everything was in good working order. All of this makes me glad to have chosen to hold the class there, enthusiastic about holding future classes there, and glad to recommend the range (and store) to my students and others. Great in store selection of firearms for sale and / or rental. Best training facilities in the area, memberships, staff and facilities that are family friendly, member league nights every other week, new, competition, casual and defense shooters are all welcomed.
